Spiritual Personality from India visits Frauenfeld.

Frauenfeld: Mata Amritanandamayi, called "Amma", who is considered a saint in India, is coming to Switzerland next week. During her only visit to Switzerland this year, the spiritual personality plans to embrace thousands of men and woman from all religions.

Her press official Franziska Agosti says that the 48-year old Indian lady seems to have the gift, to transmit love to the hearts of all human beings, to remove pain and to give new hope and inspiration to everyone, be he or she Moslem, Christian, Jew or Hindu.

The daughter of a fisher-family has become famous for embracing, everywhere, every visitor quickly. Mata Amritanandamayi was recognised as one of the most important spiritual personalities when she addressed the Parliament of World Religions and when she spoke at the UN.

With donations, "Amma" is supporting charitable projects in India. In her home country she has built orphanages and a hospital, where poor patients get free medical treatment.
