AIMS Hospital - Where
they treat you with Love
Saji (father) said : "I am a farmer, working in a rubber plantation.
I tap the trees to extract latex. At the birth of our baby, we saw
that he was bluish in color. In course of time the blue color became
darker. We became very frightened and consulted our doctor. He said
that there was no place other than AIMS that could treat this condition,
and that the child would die if the operation was not done. Our
relatives told us that it was impossible to come to such a big hospital,
and that we should not even try because we could never afford it."

Experience
with Amma
Excerpted from the 2002 issue of the Immortal Bliss Magazine.
It
was one such day. I regarded it as a matter of great pride to ask
a "tough" question. Well, here was an opportunity to stand
out before a crowd of devotees, to become someone! I did not squander
the opportunity. I threw Amma a question, one meant to baffle. Contrary
to custom, Amma gave an unexpected reply, with some displeasure:
" Dear child, you won't understand the answer!" I got
deflated before that audience. I felt completely beaten. Making
a fool of me before a gathering! Enough! I got up, and with my satchel,
left the ashram. Read more

Gems to Treasure
Do not say, "It is morning," and dismiss it with a name
of yesterday. See it for the first time as a new-born child that
has no name.
A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed
that uses it.
He who wants to do good knocks at the gate; he who loves finds the
gate open.

Only Breath
Not Christian or Jew or Muslim,
not Hindu,Buddhist, sufi, or zen.
Not any religion or cultural system.
I am not from the East or the West, not out of the ocean or up from
the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at
all.
I do not exist, am not an entity in this world or in the next, did
not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story.
My place is placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or
soul.
I belong to the beloved, have seen the two worlds as one and that
one call to and know, first, last, outer, inner, only that breath
breathing human being.
- written by Jalal ad-Din Rumi
of the 13th Century & translated by Coleman Barks
