Transforming television…one viewer at a time

It has been 6 months since Amrita TV began broadcasting in the USA. It is now seen in more than 10 countries around the world, and most of Southern India, also. Soon, some Europeans will be watching this TV channel.
In the USA, there is now a charitable organization, Amrita Media, whose purpose is to collect and make the highest quality content for Amrita TV and all other interested broadcasters.
Amrita TV USA is helping get more subscribers for our TV channel, and getting advertisers and sponsors to place ads in between the programs.

Would you like to help?

1. If you have Amrita TV already, how about inviting some of your local friends and family to watch it with you. Amma’s bhajans, talks, swami talks and Amritavarsham footage is on Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm California (6pm Eastern time) time. The programs are subtitled in English.

2. Amma is also on Monday at 9am and 4:30pm, and Friday at 9am and 4:30pm, all California time. Please add 3 hours for the eastern time zone, 2 hours for the central time zone, and an hour for the Mountain time zone. Monday and Friday programs may not be subtitled in English.

3. If you have Amrita TV already, and would like to show the other excellent programs on TV, please go to www.amritatv.com and go to the Schedules button on the lower left hand side of the page, to see when English subtitled programs are broadcast, or when the other excellent programs are shown.

4. Bookmark www.amritamedia.org and its online store. It is getting built. Would you like to tell our group what type of products we should stock? We want to create the best content library in the world. Please email info@amritamedia.org

On December 25th , there will be a special program from the USA, about Christmas. We don’t know the exact time it will be shown on Amrita TV, but please go to www.amritatv.com and go to the Schedules button.

The Christmas eve, day and day after, along with New Years’ eve and Day schedules are also in www.amritatv.com and press Schedules. Have fun watching the channel that is transforming TV.
