Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri is one of Amma's closest disciples. Since meeting Amma 26 years ago, Swamiji has traveled world wide sharing Amma's teachings with us in his natural and lively manner, giving us profound insights and practical wisdom.

This retreat is a valuable opportunity to take a break from our hectic lives, regain our natural rhythm, and reconnect with Amma and our Selves. This annual retreat includes meditation, chanting, hatha yoga, question & answer sessions, classes on Vedic scriptural texts and opportunities to hear the inspiring stories of the Swami’s experiences with Amma. Delicious vegetarian meals are also included.

There will be a special Sunday night event (on September 5) to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birthday! Please join us for the weekend and return home renewed, re-energized and revitalized.

Those who can not spare the entire weekend but would still like to participate, can now attend 1, 2 or all 3 days of the retreat. On Saturday & Sunday, the retreat starts at 6:30 am (ofcourse you are welcome to join us at any time during the day). The Monday's program starts at 9:00 am.

Due to the silent and meditative nature of the retreat children under 12 will not be able to attend the retreat on Saturday (Sep. 4) and Monday (Sep. 6). However on Sunday (Sep. 5) special arrangements for child care have been made from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Special M. A. Center rates are available at a nearby San Ramon hotel for those who need accommodations. Single and shared room options are available. Please contact us for rates and information.

Attending all 3 days (September 4, 5 & 6): $100
Attending any 2 days: $75
Attending 1 day: $50
Children (ages 4 - 12) attending on Sep. 5: $25
