New Year's Day Silent Retreat

Amma tells us that only in the depth of pure silence can we hear God's voice. Spirituality can be experienced only in stillness and silence. A day of silence gives us a chance to reflect and contemplate. It offers an opportunity to deepen our spiritual practice and renew and strengthen our connection to Amma, as we release the old year and embrace the possibilities inherent in the New Year.

Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya & Bri. Ramaa Devi will lead us in chanting, Bhajans, and meditation throughout the day as well as provide the time and space for personal reflection. A delicious vegetarian lunch and dinner are included in the retreat fee.

All are welcome to attend the New Year's eve program from 6:00 pm till midnight. For those that would like to stay overnight at the M. A. Center on Dec. 31, there will be an additional $25 fee which includes an early morning Yoga class and breakfast.
