M.A. Math gives nearly half a million USD as relief aid for Bihar Flood Disaster.

MA Math announced today that it will provide twenty million rupees ($450,000) for flood-relief work in Bihar today.

Ambulance Teams of doctors and other volunteers are already working, treating more than 500 patients a day. Construction of temporary shelters for those made homeless by the floods is now underway. Four million rupees worth of medicines have been provided, as well as food, clothing and other necessities.

An ambulance and Telemedicine Medical Van are currently in route via rail and should reach the region shortly.
