Staying on Schedule in Sri Lanka
Thekkawatta, Sri Lanka
April 13, 2006
Almost since a year after the M. A. Math signed a memorandum of
understanding with the Sri Lankan Government (in May 2005) to build
160 houses for Tsunami survivors, things are progressing well in
the western provinces of Sri Lanka.
The first batch of houses constructed by the M. A. Math for the
tsunami victims in the Kalutara District of Western Province is
nearing completion.

Each three story building houses 12 apartments. These
homes built in three-story complexes are constructed according to
government specifications in the Sinhalese and Tamil districts of
Kalutara and Hambantotta.
