R told us the story of her license plates yesterday. Brahmachari Dayamrita had come to Gainesville , FL , to conduct a program and to teach a class in IAM (Integrated Amrita Meditation). He was put up at R's house.

Some fifty people attended the IAM course, but R's husband, stricken with a neurological disease, could not take part. However, he greatly enjoyed the public program and the presence of Dayamrita in his house.

When Dayamrita left, R's husband G was feeling sad. Perhaps he was also sad that he could not take the IAM course. R went to get the mail. There she found that her car's new license plates had arrived.

It said J76 HUG

"Now can that be just a co-incidence!" R exclaimed to her husband. "Amma wants you to remember that she is always with you and loves you." Whether it was a co-incidence or not R and her husband felt that they got what they were most longing for at that moment - a hug from Amma!

In Dallas R went for her hug and told Amma her story. Amma smiled happily, perhaps enjoying her daughter's innocent faith.
