Adopt a Highway

Adopt-a-Highway is a volunteer-run project to clean up the highways. Volunteers are assigned a portion of the highway to clean 3 times a year. AYUDH-Michigan adopted a 2-mile stretch of US-23 from near the intersection with I-94 and up to Geddes road exit. By cleaning the highways, we become more aware of how we are polluting Mother Nature. This expands our consciousness to care about the cleanliness of our environment.

The 2019 dates are April 13 - 21, July 13 - 21 and September 21 - 29. You can find more details about the Adopt a Highway program on the MDOT website.
